Isabel Lucas: Rising Star

She's been busy promoting her new movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" in Miami, and yesterday Isabel Lucas was spotted grabbing some lunch in the sunny south Florida city.
Miss Lucas looked lovely as she chatted with a friend over her delicious meal, sporting a white scoopneck minidress and a pair of oversized shades. And as her star continues to rise, Isabel has been coming to terms with the fact that she could very well be the next Hollywood it-girl.
She told FOX Pop Tarts, "What do I need to do to be ready? I just feel so amazingly grateful for the opportunity, so if it does help career-wise then I'll be very grateful for that too. But I don't have any expectations, we'll see how it goes."

Isabel Lucas Takes “Transformers” to Miami

 Still hot on the promotional trail, Isabel Lucas attended a special screening of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” in Miami, Florida on Saturday evening (June 27). Photos HERE.
Held at the Regal South Beach, the Aussie actress was joined by director Michael Bay and actor Ramon Rodriguez as they continue to boost interest in the blockbuster “Transformers” sequel.
As for the movie, it has shot straight to the top of the box office reports, raking in an impressive $201.2 million over the first five days.
The earnings make it the second biggest first five days for a box office release, trailing only “The Dark Knight,” which pulled in $203.8 million over the same period of time.

Isabel Lucas Takes "Transformers" to Australia

 Splitting up from her co-stars to promote in Australia, Isabel Lucas attended the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” premiere in Sydney on Tuesday (June 16). Photos HERE.
Looking oh-so-elegant, the Aussie actress first hit a pre-drinks reception at The Eastern Bar before heading to the theater for the afternoon screening.
Talking to press about her “Transformers” role, Isabel told press: “I was really intrigued by the character because there is more than meets the eye – literally.”
“She’s a layered character, and that’s interesting for any actor to play really something different from yourself and to understand and relate to her even though she might have darker intentions. She’s fun to play,” Miss Lucas adds.

 Hey guys, we've just added 2 new layouts of Isabel for both our site and forum. Thanks to our member James (SmileyxRawr) for Style #2 and Kaitlin for Style #3.
If you have problem of using the lays just check out the layout styles in Stats box on the leftside bar, where you can easily switch from Style 1 to our recent Style 3 and switch back. Anyway take your pick and hope you like it! :)

Transformers 2 Review by The Hollywood Reporter

Designed to give devoted fans of the 2007 "Transformers," which grossed more than $700 million worldwide, more of the same, Michael Bay's sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is a nonstop whirl of flying, battling and crashing machinery.
Characters and comedy are in short supply in a plot that's basically an Indiana Jones-style search for a buried treasure, in this case a 1,000-year-old matrix that will give life back to Optimus Prime, one of the alien robots who is on the side of humans in their fight against the evil Decepticons who are out to destroy them.
With Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox back as the leads and massive battles involving ships, planes, tanks, rockets and industrial level shape-changing machines, the film will make another huge dent in the global boxoffice. ... Read More ...

Transformers 2 Review by RollingStones

It's tempting to dismiss Michael Bay's long, loud and ludicrous sequel to 2007's Transformers with one word — hunkajunk. On every level this movie is as bankrupt as GM. But there is more to be said about a movie this gargantuan ($200 million spent on robot hardbodies) and galactically stupid. Transformers: The Revenge of The Fallen is beyond bad, it carves out its own category of godawfulness. And, please, you don't have to remind me that the original was a colossal hit ($700 million worldwide) and the sequel will probably do just as well. I know it's popular. So is junk food, and they both poison your insides and rot your brain. But I do accept that Bay is unique. No one can top him for telling a story with such striking, shrieking incoherence.
Bay picks up the Transformers story by sending Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf yelling every line of dialogue) off to college, leaving behind his mechanic girlfriend Mikaela (Megan Fox). Let's pause a moment and talk about Bay and his masterful objectification of women. He intros Fox in tight shorts, bent over a motorcycle. I can almost hear Bay behind the camera like a porn director who's captured a clone of Angelina Jolie: "Push that butt out, Megan, twitch it. Now turn, bend, show the rack. Now lick those lips, pout that pout. Hey, makeup, we need more lip gloss." He even brings in another hottie, Isabel Lucas, as Alice, another student who never cracks a book. I assume this is Bay U. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" -- the most terrible revenge since Montezuma's -- is louder, longer and lamer than the 2007 hit it succeeds.
Both Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox run away a lot in new "Transformers" -- she in slow motion, says Tom Charity.

Shia On Isabel Lucas

On Isabel Lucas, his other female co-star in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” Shia said, “She’s a very talented actress. She’s beautiful. And she was thrown into a boiling pot of hot water. The set was bubbling from the minute we started on the first one. So for Isabel to come from Australia, essentially a newcomer, and virtually her first film is this large, it’s pretty impressive. It’s fun for her—new and exciting. She’s dealing with it the best she can. She’s a quiet girl, very different from Megan. She’s less outspoken, less aggressive and a totally different personality. But she’s just as enjoyable.”
Isabel was with Shia when he flipped his truck and crushed his left hand in an early morning collision accident in LA last July. Although Shia was found to be not at fault for the accident (the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light), his license was temporarily suspended because he refused to undergo chemical tests following the accident. In an interview with Playboy magazine, the actor, admitting that he had “a whiskey and three beers” before the accident, revealed that he has joined AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) to seek help. ...
